Aubrey Murray Death; Cal Poly student died by suicide on March

The Cal Poly Student Affairs community is grieving the passing of Aubrey Murray, a senior electrical engineering student who tragically passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025.

Aubrey was known for her brilliance, enthusiasm, and engagement in her studies. She thrived in hands-on learning environments, fully embracing the opportunities offered at Cal Poly. Recently, she had joined the Cal Poly Climbing Club, further showcasing her adventurous spirit and passion for new challenges.

According to university officials, Aubrey’s passing was by suicide. The university has expressed its deepest condolences to her family, friends, and the entire campus community, offering its full support to those grieving this loss.
