Death; Courtney Hagar, Little Rock, AR, paramedic died on March 21

Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services Paramedic, Captain Courtney “Court Court” Hagar passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025. She was an outstanding individual, mother, coach and friend. Hagar served the citizens of the State of Arkansas and faithfully upholding her oath to the citizens of the community for which she swore to serve. Captain Hagar served the citizens with good faith, compassion, and integrity.

She was not only an incredible paramedic and leader but also a fantastic human being. She made every patient feel seen, every colleague feel supported, and every firefighter felt like family. Courtney was a pillar in EMS, a backbone in the pre-hospital setting, and a trusted teacher to so many. Countless North Little Rock EMTs and paramedics earned their stripes riding along with Courtney, learning the job from one of the very best.

May her memory be forever embedded in our hearts as her brothers and sisters continue to serve the citizens and ensure the public safety and public wellness of the community.
